Maxxis Scooter M6029 130/70-12 64L TL #E

Meet the Maxxis Scooter M6029 130/70-12 64L TL — a purpose-built tire tailored for urban riders who demand reliability, precise handling, and confident braking on every commute. Sized for a wide range of 12-inch scooters, this tubeless tire is engineered to perform where you live and ride most: city streets, wet corners, and light highway stretches.

Why riders choose the M6029

• 130/70-12 sizing fits a broad lineup of modern scooters, delivering a balanced profile that blends stability with nimble steering.
• Tubeless construction (TL) reduces the risk of sudden deflation and streamlines mounting and maintenance, so you spend more time riding and less time servicing.
• 64L load index with L speed rating supports everyday payloads with steady performance up to 120 km/h where permitted, giving you confidence on longer trips and highway stretches.
• Wet-weather performance features a tread pattern with wide grooves designed to evacuate water efficiently, helping maintain grip in rain and slushy conditions.
• Durable compound and tread design focus on even wear and long life, so you get more miles from your investment without sacrificing grip or feedback.
• ECE certification (#E) signals compliance with essential safety standards, giving you peace of mind on everyday rides.

What this means in real-world riding

Urban commutes feel more predictable thanks to the M6029’s stable steering and solid contact with the road. When you encounter sudden rain or damp asphalt, the tire’s water-dispersion channels help you maintain braking confidence and controlled cornering. The tubeless design reduces downtime after minor punctures and makes maintenance simpler, so your scooter spends more time on the road than in the shop.

Ideal use cases

• Daily commuting through dense city traffic — predictable handling and reliable wear for busy weekdays.
• Short trips and errands — a balance of comfort and durability for frequent starts and stops.
• Weekend rides on light highways — steady high-speed feel within the tire’s design envelope, with confident stability in curves.
